MAC Casual Colour Relaxation Lip and Cheek Colour swatches

...That was a mouthful! New product from MAC - Lip and Cheek pots! These are packaged the same as Lip Conditioners - you get a whopping 13g of product.

Relaxation is a light cool pink. I was really hoping this was a warmer pink (since that's what MAC described it as) but it is subtly blue tinted. The formula is on the thicker side - it's definitely opaque but doesn't look heavy. Of course, you could always use less product and have it sheerer!

On the cheeks it gives a lovely dewy pop of colour - when I say dewy I don't mean oily/sticky looking - but a sheen. It blends really easily (I've been used a small MAC stippling brush - can't remember the number!) and it applies fine.

On the lips again it's full coverage. Didn't settle into liplines whatsoever, or show any signs of dry skin on the lips. It's less sheen-y on the lips and after an hour or so it will dry down and become a little dry. Nothing too bad but it loses the slip you get when you first apply it.

I think these are cracking products from MAC - very annoyed that these are LE. Would love to see these pop up in the permanant line at some point with more colours.

  1. I don't think the colour would suit me but it looks really nice on you and looks lovely and pigmented on your skin. Great post xx
